Art Deco- Great Gatsby Inspired Wedding

Our team of designers at Enchanted Florist are somewhat unique. We are used to being seen as “a little different”. At one time or another each of our crew was probably seen as a bit of an outcast, maybe even called the weird kid at school. We are all artists and musicians that fit the stereotype of tattoos and brightly colored hair. Collectively, we have a connection to around 10 or more Las Vegas bands. Even the owner once fronted an all girl punk band. Needless to say we embrace acceptance of all people, so we were thrilled when we were asked to be a part of a photo shoot featuring a same sex couple.

Not only do we support same sex marriage, we support the latest trend of Art Deco and Great Gatsby themed weddings! We loved the extra details of signage and florals at the cake table, bar and champagne fountain.

The reception tables were AMAZING! I loved this set-up. The plates and chargers, table linens and of course our designs were beautifully complimented by the table numbers to complete that Art Deco look.

Our friend and fabulous Las Vegas wedding planner ARCHEL ROLWING gathered a talented group of vendors to join forces. The following images are the result of amazing teamwork and creativity.

Here’s a little tip, when you don’t want to use a traditional arch or alter in your ceremony, get creative. Here we hung gold picture frames with fabric draped between them to create a focal point. Adding pillars with floral designs to each side enhances the feel even more. Don’t be afraid to ask your florist if you can use your centerpieces in the ceremony. Tall designs can be re-purposed as aisle markers, alter pieces and even to line the aisle, just be prepared for an extra fee to have them moved from the reception site. We do it all the time. 🙂
